My boyfriend told me about SGC for months before we finally had an opportunity to go. Literally any time we got sushi somewhere else, I would hear "Just wait until we go to SGC"
And the wait did not disappoint!
We got there at about 7 pm on a Sunday and were greeted warmly by Chef Iggy, whom I had heard many good things about. He immediately started taking our order and dishing out sushi faster than we could finish it. It was amazing. All you can eat sushi for less than $30 a person with incredible quality felt like a steal! If you find yourself in the area GO HERE. We will definitely be finding time to go back north for this sushi. Thank you Iggy! -

I wouldn't say I regularly come here but I come on and off. Today especially made me realize that this has to be the WORST sushi restaurant in Corona. First off, there were a total of 7 tables that were occupied. Everyone had a sour look on their face as it took over 45 mins to an hour just for their first order to come out. They knew they were behind on orders as well as the owner or the manager kept coming around asking us what we're waiting for. If you're that slow on your order, wouldn't you think to possibly bring in another sushi chef to fulfill the orders faster? They had literally one sushi chef fulfilling all the orders. Now onto the food: I'm no expert when it comes to fish and their coloring. But, the albacore meat was extremely yellow and had a weird smell to it. I believe they were trying to mask the smell by adding garlic salt on top or lemon, but it was extremely weird. I've been to numerous sushi spots and I've yet to have Albacore with that coloring and smell.
When we were leaving, I told the owner, "hey can we possibly get a discount on our all you can eat order as we barely ate much and leaving because the food takes too long" and the owner just stands their with her stupid look confused as to what just happened. On top of that, we were charged more than what was stated on the menu.
Overall it was a horrible experience and will highly advise for others to not come here and avoid this place at all costs.
The only person that actually tried to accommodate for anything was the waiter. He was cool and understood the frustrations of the customers. Honestly, if your reading this review, I highly recommend you go to a better establishment than this s%@% hole of a place. -

WOW WOW WOW- We were a party of 5. We are a regular customer here. We brought our nephew out to have a great teppan meal. The teppan chef, Brian, was very good and very entertaining. The waitress never came over to us for the hour we sat at the table. Our drinks were never refilled and we were never asked if we needed or wanted anything else. We requested the manager when the meal was over. We brought it to his attention that the chicken was tough and the teriyaki sauce was watery. We explained we never saw the waitress throughout the whole meal. This was in front of her. She stated she was helping two other tables. LOL the joke is the other tables were waiting for their check and have been done eating for quite sometime. The manager would only give us half off of the chicken meal even though all the chicken was left behind. Our nephew ate the chicken knowing his grandma was paying and hated to leave it especially since she was paying. He did not want to complain and he was not sitting by his grandma to know she had the same experience. The manager would not credit his meal- We had a 27.99 shrimp meal, a 34.99, and and a 38.99 meal, and three fried rice that were fine. The 2 of the 5 meals were awful. The manager did not care about our experience or valid anything we were saying. He did not give a flying leap what we had to say. This was the worse customer service we have ever had. We tipped the teppan chef personally and not the waitress. They have now lost our business.
Came home- has severe stomach cramping from the shrimp, calamari, and scallops- I haven't left the toilet due to food poison. -

Very friendly staff. Food was great. They are very accommodating to the group if you have some ppl who want just the A la Cart vs. the all you can eat.

New fave all you can eat sushi spot . The food was great I would give it 5 stars but they didn't have like a poo corn lob star roll with fried crawfish . Other than that everything we ordered was bomb . Lemon roll and nude roll were my favorite . They have us full size rolls too each round FYI. Edamame was so good too spicy and garlic . Are server was so sweet and helpful too . Made the experience even better . The restaurant appreciated our business . I believe our waitresses name was Kristene ? I'm so sorry if that wasn't it but she was awesome . We will be back :)
